Hollis began her voiceover career in 2019 with no formal training, besides in stage and screen acting and quickly landed several big campaigns, including the NBA Restart in 2020 (paired with Issa Rae), Target, and Food Lion. Within a short time, she had earned enough to reinstate her health insurance, incorporate her business, and travel without sacrificing a day of her career—a luxury she had never experienced before. Believing in breaking down barriers rather than guarding them, Sarah asked herself why shouldn’t she share her knowledge with other actors who might be interested not only in voiceover, but in building lives where they could start families, travel, and purchase homes—luxuries not often available or encouraged to working actors. She began private coaching and eventually founded Abracadabra Coaching to transform what she calls a “solo sport” into a collaborative learning experience through group voiceover coaching. Since opening her practice, Sarah has guided students to sign with elite voiceover agencies in the US and Canada, book major video games, animation and commercials, and develop a deeper connection to their voice. As a coach, she is deeply committed to ensuring her clients achieve tangible results that pave the way for success in both their careers and personal lives.
